I don't like posting rumour mill items and will not say for definate on this one but this could well be on the cards. A very close friend of mine knows a woman who is 'known intimately' to Campbell. He has sold his flat in Blackpool and is moving to London taking the 'intimately known' lady with him. This lady is a friend of someone I have known for over 10 years and has no reason to fabricate a story. Indications are that he is going to QPR. If it does not come to fruition then I will shoot the source on behalf of us all.
Apparently he has a clause in his contract that if Blackpool were relegated, he could go for 1 mil. I am thinking more along the lines that if it is true, then maybe his 'lady' could get me tickets and then I could get to meet the players after the game. Now that would be the highlight of my R's supporting life. Jim'll fix it never arranged it for me in 1977 so maybe a certain someone else could...... thats what friends are for after all
Never been convinced about Campbell. Can score (1 in 2.5) but what's his contribution other than that?

I'd have Campbell any day plus graham and bothroyd hopefully all 3 will come very young and very exciting.
Not really Brix if I'm honest. But we do need someone that can stick the ball in the net even if he doesn't do much else. Its been many's a season since we had a real goalscorer up front. Tarbs hit 19 for us last year but we can't put all the pressure on him. Graham or Long would be top signings, 100% agree.
Agree with that. Most obervers have been amazed that Ollie got good performances out of the lad in the top flight but that does not make him a PL quality striker. Unless we want to share Blackpool's fate we will need better.
Yeah Swords and QPAAAAAGH, think we're on the same page on this one. We need at least a couple of front runners to choose from who not only score BUT who also worry the **** out of defenders so much so that space is created for others to score as well. Long or Graham types would probably achieve that even in the PL but Campbell (like Helgie) wouldn't so much really...
I can't say that I want Long. He spent most of the game at our place rolling around on the ground pretending that he's been elbowed. OK, he did score a good goal, but I don't like players trying to get others sent off.
