..Linked with him in The Sun for a £7.5m move.

    Yay or Nay?

Personally would love him here. Proven EPL striker, would link up brilliantly with HBA and prove to the likes of Barton & Jose Enrique (and possibly Gervinho?) that we really mean business.

    For £7.5m, YES!!!!

His wages may be a stumbling block but if we could negotionate to around £60k that would be fantastic!

Sadly, The Sun isn't a newspaper, just an alphabet spaghetti accident with tits thrown in for good measure. :(

7.5m? yes! dependent upon wages, obviously, but yes! would definitely provide some goals, is well adapted to the EPL and everything. got a good few seasons in him still.
    decent price!

£7.5m for a 30 year old? Not a chance. MA will not pay it, we will need someone to play off him. Not going to happen. If it does, I will chop my head off.

He is a Newcastle of old signing, doesn't fit our new young and cheap policy and he won't meet he wage cap. Hopefully Cashley will break his new 'policy' and sign him. The EPL's top scorer can't be a bad signing, especially when we need strikers!

    That's what I am hoping for ;)

He is better than what we have, but I can't see him lasting much more than one more year. Is that worth £7.5m?

He's 30. I think his overall style of play means he will probably be able to last two even three seasons at the top. It's not exactly as if his game revolves around pace.

As I've just said on Twitter to @nufcfans who asked the same question, YES!

His age doesn't concern me because he's technical and has never relied on pace. He would destroy any of our current strikers and would hook up a dream with the likes of Jonas and HBA, hopefully Cabaye too.

    Yes, yes, YES!

Not sure who to be more concerned about, Leazes making such claims, or you wanting to watch.
