How can we go for Rhodes then Hutch? Saw someone say he's on 40 grand a week at Rovers? Not sure i would want him here on out like that. I know he scored goals last season but the game i saw him in here i wasnt too impressed with him.
If what I was told is correct 40k is within our budget as one of our players wages doubled with promotion and that is his new wage .
Thats the worst news i can think of if true. None of our player should be anywhere near 40 grand a week.
must admit it did shock me to find out and I have no reason to doubt the person that told me , just hope with wages like these there is relegation clauses also in with them .
I would think we're after another keeper and probably two forwards , still think we will see a couple of loans as well .
I think there will be more players coming in than that. For starters we need 2 goalies not one and probably two strikers. I also think we need a quality holding midfielder with Premier League experience. As for wages, I disagree with Chazz. £40k is fine as long as relegation clauses are in place. Rhodes is rumoured to be on that right now so if we are to survive, we need to pay that for the quality required. Wonder if the player doubling salary is Aluko? BTW Hutch, you missed Brady from your side!!!
Don't think we would have activated his option for another season if we were going to pay a 37 year old £40k a week!
With the prem experiance figuero has i think bruce would go with him rather than brady but who knows, aint a clue what system we,l use or who bruce favours, that team was me just slotting the new signings/targets in to see how we looked, looks good to me, prob need another gk unless we go with oxley as back up. And adnan januzaj would be a miles better loan signing from united than nick powell similar players but januzaj is much higher rated and is ahead of powell in his development at the minute
wonder how much we'd offer rhodes wage wise on 40k or meant to be aint he "Ive been told its 25 a week mate We are matching it with bonus for goals and staying up" anything agreed transfer fee wise? look like coming off? "He wont say too much just said its looking good They are in the **** losing £2m each month" need to clear the wage bill then "Yeah thats it the worst is they dont have the cash to keep going and havent even paid the fees in full for players It looks good for us mate" Sounds promising regarding Rhodes, Looks like Blackburn are in the ****e. Regarding Hobbs, Apparntly he wont be part of the Curtis Davies deal but may be used as part of The Schmeichel deal if they dont budge.
Asked my mate if he'd seen much of McCann said hes got a bit of an engine on him and loves a tackle Strov.
