I'm quite sure I heard that Coates said he has decided against it.

I believe we need around 32000 seater stadium, we could sell 25/26 season tickets i reckon.

I'm told on very good authority that. It will be at least another two to three years before those corners get filled in.
Bloody typical eh! We shell out, year in year out for season ticket's and Mr Coates doesn't seem too want to keep his
    promise?
I guees I will still be freezing my nuts off when I'm in my sixties, which ain't that far off.
I'm SURE we could sell more S/Ticket's IF fans knew they would be warmer thoughts guys?
P.S. It's fine for Peter Coates his seat his pre heated, all part of the privilage of being the Chairman I suppose.
Next best thing would be a hot water bottle or would they ban us from taking these into the stadium I wonder.

Maybe, I'll put pen too paper and ask Mr Coates. Either that, or I have his seat in mid December and I use his. <laugh>

Im sure that wouldnt be a problem as long as you left the lid off

To be honest i think that freezing our arses off every game is all part of the experience of being at the Brit. I reckon filling in the corners would take alot of character out of the place.

people, where do we get our fabulous noise from in a freezing stadium?

    Stoke are not thick.

We are that cold, we stand up clap and sing, just to get ****ing warm.

I'm not bothered about it being cold, cause I own a coat. But more seat should equate to more noise, as long as people don't get to comfy in their slightly warmer seats.

I'm sure the club have done the research, and have decided it's not worth filling them in. It would be great for European nights, but the last thing we want is to end up like Middlesbrough or Blackburn, playing in front of a half-empty ground because it was built too big in the good times.

In the championship we only averaged about 15000 so we were playing to half filled stadium. Id love to know where all of these people were when we were two divisions lower and even where they were 4 years ago.I even know of lots of Vale fans who are now Stoke fans WHAT A JOKE!!. I am a TRUE stoke fan who sat through all of the hard times and not just taking the glory. I sat at the Brit once IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP where there was only 10000 there. If we get relegated will these fans disappear again?,.........IMO YES THEY WILL. Everyone says were the best supporters however im a stoke fan and I dont agree, the best supporters sit there and sing through the bad times too. We are just a VERY VERY loud bunch of supporters who create an unbelievable atmosphere. We should expand the stadium because there are plenty more "Stoke" fans out there who want season tickets and it will bring revenue in. I heard it would only cost about 6 million pounds to fill the corners in and considering how much we spend on players to me its well worth it.

I think a lot of the increase is due to people who would maybe have gone to one in three or four home games when in the Championship, now going to almost all now we're in the Prem. They were still Stoke supporters, but they've just gotten more committed. For sure, attendance would drop off if we went down, but I don't think it would go back to pre-2008 levels before a very long while in the winderness.

No I dont think that if we went down to the championship attendances would drop straight away but I do believe that if we were in the championship for 2 or 3 seasons they would drop off. Im actually the opposite of a glory hunter (whatever that is) because I had a season ticket for many years before we got into the prem but since being in the prem I cant really afford one (due to having children) and so only go to 4 or 5 games a season.
