I've heard Anyone is actually a ****ing brilliant manager who will sort out the deficiencies of this club and put wenger to shame. Mourinho might be known as 'The special one' but this bloke is known as 'The Almighty anyone' <ok>

I could do a better job than Wenger. There, i said it.

At least i'd sign some decent f*cking players, and i wouldn't have signed Park and Gervinho.

Out of interest, if Wenger could sign some top players and challenge for the title + win a trophy like the FA Cup or something, would your stance on him change?

I still can't work Wenger out. Because of the lack of transparency at Arsenal recently, it's difficult to know whether he's actually had the money or not.

I genuinely think you'll challenge this year and there aren't really any other managers with enough experience/quality to take on a job like Arsenal.

No. I'll feel we would have achieved despite him, rather than because of him.

So basically with you no matter what Wenger does he'll won't have achieved it? So what you're saying is I don't like Weger so I'll downplay any good he does in order to further my own view.

No, i like Wenger, i just think he's gone off his rocker. Club is more important than the individuals. Managers come and go.

I don't need proof, it's clear to see with your own eyes.

Maybe in your own warped opinion but clearly the vast majority of this board disagree with you. So to prove your point which is clearly not "clear to see" what proof do you have of Wenger being off his rocker?

Odd observation when your "location" says "Analyzing stuff with science". Not very scientific is it? You are probably going to fail if your idea of proof is "Well it's obvious innit!"

Kyle what in blazes has got into you the last couple of days ? Has somebody scratched your favourite Siouxsie and the Banshee's record or something ? Because if there's anybody who's acting like they are off their rocker - it's you mate.

I wouldn't say Wenger's gone off his rocker, but I do feel like he has been left behind slightly in terms of the modern game. Which sounds crazy as he revolutionized the game over here when he first arrived. When he arrived he could get away with signing the young rising stars that fit his tactics and style because no one played the same tactics and style Wenger played. It took a good 4/5 years for most teams to adapt to Wenger's style of football, which is when he won the majority of his trophies.

Then we had the Invincible's which was the ultimate Wenger team as this was a group of players that had matured and played together for a long time, knew the tactics, knew the style and knew the system down to a tee.

Then the moneybags like Chelski and ****ty came on board and they were paying top dollar for the very best players all around the world. This again changed the way football worked in this country and money came to the for.

Wenger, rightly or wrongly stuck to his guns for a long time. He still relied on signing young upcoming talent which worked up to a point. These players, after developing under Wenger, sought pastures new, clubs that would pay top dollar for their services and bankroll their lifestyle.

Wenger needs to realise that he is a few years behind and make some top class signings this summer, I think he will.

For me, Wenger did what he had to, given the financial restrictions. He's not perfect and he makes mistakes - he would admit that too. But I can honestly say that I think another manager at the helm over the last 8 years at Arsenal could have already seen us plummet like Liverpool have.

The board have made an unequivocal statement now, that we have major funds to invest in the team, so it's up to Wenger to make sure we strengthen this summer. We might not get all of the pieces of the jigsaw in place in one window, but we need to see a determined approach in the next couple of months and one or two top quality signings - and I still think Wenger is the man to do it.

I've had this debate too many times. It is all about whether you see long term goals or short term ones as success.

As it stands, every year I feel that next year could be Arsenal's year to win the PL or the CL. I don't think there are many Spurs fans that can say the same.

Genuinely think it would be a tall order for Arsenal (or any English club, in fact) to win the CL next year. PL is going to be more open and if Arsenal can take the positives of last season I.e improved defence and progress a bit more in midfield and up front, they will definitely be challenging, IMO.

This is the same every year. Spain were going to be "Unbeatable" this year, now Germany are. Every year is a new year.
