Been off work today due to lack of sleep increasing the risk of me having fits, so it was thought best if I stayed here. Have been dozing on and off watching the WIndies bowlers demolish the Pakistan batting (or should that be the Pakistanis imploding?) on a good wicket at the Oval. The WIndies start their innings in about 10 minutes.

Second day when we have had very high temperatures, 32C°, followed by an hour of evening storms. Looks as if it is setting a pattern. Still it saves on watering. ;)

Our street lights go off at 10.00pm these days. Tonight they came on at 9.57pm. Don't think we get much for our money.

Evening / Morning all - just in after the 1st night of my birthday week-end celebrations..

Isn't nice to debate about our new shirts and what players will we be bringing in after the "rule change" on loan players instead of worrying about a 2 bob penis of a chairman. Personally I love the crap we had been given about the loan players and other crap - f*** 'em I say.
These are probably the best days to be a Watford supporter..

Good day all, warm but overcast here. A wet weekend? Maybe, but the meteo is suggesting more storms, so probably be dry.

Afternoon all from a brightening bandit country - just cut the grass in an attempt to wear off some of the hangover. Had a great night last night - a couple of pints of local B&T Dragon Slayer, a nice plate of pasta with some half decent house Italian red, a couple of Expresso Martinis and then a couple of pints of Estrella...heaven. 5 bags of grass cuttings and I'm beginning to recover!

I've just bought some "Alpro" hazelnut milk,
it's supposed to be a healthy alternative to cow's milk! It tastes so damned good that there has to be something about it that makes it bad for me!

    Any ideas anyone?

As long, I suppose, no hazelnuts were injured in the production.........

The only problem that I know of is with the additives - especially the preservative and sweetener variety. It's really easy to make your own - healthier and cheaper (if you already possess a blender) - and tastes great in coffee.
