Not with regard to the football league meeting we're not, the clubs that will be affected get to vote, not the ones who won't be involved.
trying but upload keeps failing - I'm not that computer savvy so not sure what I'm doing wrong. Can confirm pic is Assem tho & is bona fide...
Birmingham Mail saying (guessing) we'll offer money plus Jack Hobbs for Curtis Davies http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/spo...ws/former-birmingham-city-boss-steve-4194174?
Jack Hobbs is the likeliest contender, but I'd honestly offer them Alex Bruce. Out of all our defenders, Alex Bruce comes across as the least likely to succeed in the Premier League.
Brady's Bunch won't be happy with that if true... Also, Hobbs would be the least likely, surely? Alex Bruce would make most sense. EDIT: Bloody hell, Candy.
Exactly, having Jack Hobbs, James Chester, Paul McShane, Abdoulaye Faye and Curtis Davies as the defending options would be great!
You're right, but I think that if Steve Bruce was willing to play his son in midfield to get him into the team (where he was hopeless), I highly doubt he's going to sell him.
Today, the HDM is linking us with Gary O'Neil and David Bentley. I remember when Bentley was good. Long time ago now.
Bullshit, Bruce is an admirer of Hobbs and has acknowledged him as our team captain before, never going to happen. I get the feeling Brucey is looking for another James Chester like centrehalf to play on the other side of Hobbs in a back 3. If we're going to strengthen at the back why swap our best centerback for another one? Makes no sense at all.
I see Jack Barmby has been offered a professional contract by Man United. Would anyone have him here on loan?
Perhaps SB sees it as an opportunity to improve his defensive options whilst making sure that his son remains in full employment at a good club and at a level that shouldn't find him wanting? Sounds like a sensible way out of a difficult situation.
Maybe if we were still in the Championship. I can't see the point in taken a new kid on the block and throwing him in at the deep end. He'll go out on loan to somewhere like Leicester probably since as Nigel has 'really good' connections with Manchester United.
