I'm glad we're going for something completely different - it's better than what happened in 2008, when we had a home shirt that was 50% black and an away shirt that was off black, and the first time we played away at a club that wore black, we had to use their away kit. At least with black/amber and red/blue kits, that won't be possible.

Home kit is similar to last years stripes with an updated cash convertors logo. Away kit is navy blue with red and white piping under the arms..
I hope not - it would mean the socks are completely random from the kit and would mean we've most likely got this crap template in Navy: please log in to view this image See Brizzle away kit (for some reason Tinypic isn't working) http://www.football-shirts.co.uk/fans/bristol-city-fans-reveal-201314-adidas-kits_20190
If that's the Newcastle game you're thinking of they only made us change the shorts and maybe socks remember. It made me laugh that at the time that the referee thought black and amber clashed with black and white, but that "grey" shirt didn't, and yet the "grey" shorts clashed with Newcastle's black shorts. Surely that "grey" either clashed with black or it didn't.
How can you say that from looking at the socks? Are you one of them idiots who turns up to watch City in full kit? Shin pads and all?
You've got a point there actually - it was only the shirt and the socks. The home shirts would have been fine that day - but the shirts weren't allowed to clash at all. It was a ludicrous situation, but I don't think it was down to the referee alone. I think the Prem regs differ slightly from the FL, I don't think any part of the kit is allowed to clash at all in the PL, and our home shorts and socks were black, same as Newcastle's. In the FL they don't seem as stressed. At the Bristol game this year, both keepers were in the same kit. (Would have been fun if one of them had gone up for a last minute corner) I'm surprised we weren't stopped from using that kit from the off. The grey kit was officially called charcoal I seem to remember, which is a shade of black - and our home kit was entirely black apart from three amber stripes.
I've posted this before, but might as well re-post it. It will be one of these In red and blue. I would rule out the Inspired Estro and the Toque though. please log in to view this image
