Yeah, a few jugs we're toppled in the pub after witnessing that I'm sure. Good on your teammates, good spirit, and even better on your wife, mines still learning...Bought me a bottle of white because it's cheap and easy, aint got the heart to tell her I hate it! It's the thought that counts, I'm still training her.

It was gruesome mate, watched it live and at the beginning they kept doing the slow-mo, replays, zooming in and I think someone with the decenecy told them to lay off the replays as it was ****ing terrifying the viewers.

He had something similar to Dr. as he had an area that was weak in his bones and over time it just got worse and worse.

Anyway, Dr. I hope the cannibus helps, some hydroponic or hash always does the trick, not that I would know...... <yikes>

What's the prognosis? Career ending or fixable? Bouncing about on a hard-court cant be good in the long run.

Not career ending but think the pro dreams are over. He has I think 2 more years in college so best he does his studies try to enjoy the time and then move on. He wasn't a future pro but was good. The one fella on the team who went straight over to him has a strong stomach!!!

Yeah it was similar to that mate. My workmate actually showed me that vid a few weeks ago. B Watching it now felt a bit strange, I feel for him, I did nayway but even more so now. But yeah was similar sort of leg breakage (although I wasnt landing I was turning) and similar team reaction

Staff at hospital couldnt believe the amount of durgs Id had and they still hadnt knocked me out, basically the break keeping me awake

What was the outcome of the basketball player?

Id actually ordered weed that was meant to pick up Wed, i'll have to get it delivered prob

SuprRedripper - It is the thought mate, bless her. I used to love wine but it would be my last choice of drink as ive gone through the years. Missus also got me some nice crunchy bread, bacon and some smoked Applewood cheese in as well <cool>

You only need the one <laugh> You can buy it on the internet. Mine is a 'Magic Flight'. Google it. It comes in a box. The box contains a small wooden box with a sliding transparent lid. Inside the box is a very fine mesh gauze and underneath is a heating element. There is a hole at one end of the box into which you fit a glass tube. You are also provided with two rechargeable batteries and a charging unit.

Grind the weed and put it on the gauze inside the box. Slide the lid closed. Insert the battery and then push it in firmly. You will see the element come on. Heat for three seconds and then release your grip on the battery. Inhale for 10 seconds and repeat about 6 - 10 times depending on how much weed you put in. No smoke, no smell, just pure THC. I was using it in the CRown and in the crowd at the Derby and nobody had a scooby <laugh>

Beautifully engineered and for life. Costs about £85. A real investment. I only use it for my arthritis, you understand <ok>

The only thing is, it doesn't look like one of those electronic ***s. It almost looks homemade, but the spec is of the highest quality.

You need to break your leg more often! The Chardonnay was nice I must admit, though a cold beer would of been better. I hope you melt the cheese over the bacon and lay it on the crunchy bread? That's what she wants I assure you!

I've broke my fib and tib in my right leg before through a bad challenge in 11-a-side and being right footed it was my biggest fear turned to reality, wasn't a compound fracture so they didn't feel the need to do any surgery on it .. I was in hospital for 6 days and got told my cast would be required to stay on for 13 weeks.

In the end i was in a cast for 25 weeks and got told that in hindsight it should have been operated on, needless to say i was fuming (this coming from the same hospital that messed my dads broken leg up aswell and he now has one leg shorter than the other by an inch!!)

Anyway i did it in Jan 2011 when i was 19 and i started playing 5-a-side again 10 months later, it was a further 5 months when i started to play 11-a-side again .. I'm now 22 and have just completed what i would say was my comeback season although next season will be the main one as i'll be fully 100% fit!

It is horrible and frustrating when you first start playing again as you're not fit, you're not at your best, you're scared of going in for that first 50/50 challenge as you dont know how strong your leg is and you feel as though you're letting your team mates down .. Yours sounds a lot worse than mine but i had the same mindset of football is everything to its all i've known so i was determined to get back playing!! The doctor said i wouldn't be able to play for a year and half but through physio and maybe a little stupidity i was back kicking a ball after 10 months!! .. There is hope mate but then again i dont have a young family to look after like you, so i wish you all the best and hope one day you'll play another game of football, get well soon!!

    Yeah, only medicinal of course

You speak so fondly of it and your instructions are better than the ones it comes with probably!
