i thought myself that under reina's own coach he improved a lot and was really passing it about and trying to be like pepe. once hodgson came in and his USELESS assistant gulasci went in the toilet. i think the guys are right at hull he didn't do well and its confidence and the basics.

I think he could suceed if backed but needs to do more himself.... i say get a damned proper GK coach in.

Ivan Rakitic is a decent player to be fair, wouldn't mind him for a good fee (under £8m).

Rumours have calmed about Toby Alderweiald and Christian Eriksen, still reckon them two would make an impact at Liverpool early on.

Carroll, Aspas and Ilori deals look like just a matter of time.

Not sure what to thinking about Robben, good player but wages would be a problem for me, and also the transfer fee (if not included in Suarez deal).

If we got Robben for less than £15m, wages of less than £140k a week and the world class side of him, then I don't think a single one of us would complain.. As if anything in football is that simple!

 

Given a straight choice between Eriksen and Robben? Its a no brainer to me, welcome aboard Christian

I'd love us to give Ajax £30m for the pair TBH. We should still have some funds left for Aspas ect too. Plus, if suarez ****s off we'll have a large pot for a couple more.

In short, Marca, Talksport and Caughtoffside have shoddy records of accuracy for their rumours. There's a reason why Marca said Suarez was all set to move to Madrid - they make **** up.

Gazzetta an impressive 40% accuracy though, Guardian next best with 34%

 

Who's this Ilori feller then?

 

He was a really good up and coming player a few years back, could definitely be useful! If Skrtel stays could have someone to relate to ( I know different countries but similarities none the less).

 

I'd rather not sign him and sell Skrtel

Liverpool have received an enquiry from Norwich City regarding the availability of Jonjo Shelvey.The 21-year-old midfielder has fallen out of favour with boss Brendan Rodgers and it is claimed that Norwhich have been told that they can have him for between £5m and £8m depending on how a deal is structured (initial fee, subsequent appearances etc).

i haven't heard any more on the Carroll situation,

hopefully its sorted, all agreed, price wages etc, and he can **** off and take another club for a mug.
