Like the rest of you, over the past two seasons, every window seems to bring in more midfielders than any other position.
Just for a change, I'd really welcome any realistic talk of say, some strikers.

Living over here in Oz, it is a bit hard to have some 'local knowledge' about what the general street chat is regarding players coming in.
Do any of you locals have any gut feelings as to who ( strikers ) might be heading our way this summer?
    Cheers,
Aussie and the Southern Cross / Anzac Contingent

Think the first question needs to be which old strikers are going. Currently we have Zamora, Johnson, Remy, Cisse, Bothroyd, Campbell and Mackie on the books.

Maybe Hulse will get a new contract too!

Funny enough spot on, until we know whose going then we don't know if have space for another forward. We all know who we want to go but need to lighten the load a lot.

Of those, I'd like to keep Mackie and Campbell, and it looks like Remy will be staying with us until he's convicted or acquitted. So we need to get in a couple more - I like the idea of Mackall-Smith.

    Odemwingie maybe

As the club and Harold's dodgy mates have now framed Remy to keep him I doubt if we need any. Remy is out of the frame for the world cup with a rape charge dangling and fingers crossed he will rip the championship to bits up to Jan when we will sell him for 20 million to Arsenal by that time we will be on a roll and 20 point clear at the top and we will rely on Johnson hitting a new lease of life and Adel playing a free role

There is an interesting point you raise in there DT. Is there a time limit on Remy's release clause, or is it open ended? If no one bought him and we won promotion would it then be revoked?

Fair comments there, 'UpminstR' ........................ with such an under-performing forward line this year, one could be forgiven in thinking that we had bugger all forwards playing for us.
Apart from Remy & Zamora, I still think I'm right in may thinking !

Odemwingie has been strongly linked to Palace, I can't see him coming to us unless we are still paying silly money and, judging by the Bridge rejection, we're not...
