The guy who posted that losing Steele and Phelan was a really bad move by Moyes. He's clearly not the idiot he presents himself to be.
Rooney update: Now rumors are that Wayne Rooney is set to stay at Manchester United as long as David Moyes confirms him that he will play him in his normal role as a striker. It does look like including what he said 2 days ago that Rooney is not only upset about being taken off, the main problem was that he wasn't happy in playing in a different roles most often lasts season. It will be great news if he is going to stay, he is still a great player. It will be a blow if he leaves which looks unlikely now. Also all this Arsene Wenger wants to sign him is rubbish, even if Arsenal have the money would Rooney like to go Arsenal? i don't think so. Also seeing some funny Arsenal fans talking as if they have signed him and are starting to praise him while it was only few months ago they were saying bad things about him. They think they will be title challengers next week because apparently Arsene is going to spend big but the thing they are forgetting is that, All of the team ahead of Arsenal are stronger then Arsenal and even if Arsenal makes signing, Man utd, man city and Chelsea will also make signings too, so i really to doubt it they will be title challengers, If Bale stays at Tottenham ( highly unlikely ) then arsenal will be fighting for the 4th place trophy with tottenham.
Good news if true. Rooney and Van Persie seem to have built up a partnership. Hopefully a full preseason together and they can become an even more lethal strike partnership.
yep, We have seen signs of Rooney and Van Persie partnership, it was a shame that Rooney got injured in most parts of the season, hopefully and i expect him to stay, next season Wazza can get a injury free season and form a great partnership with RVP and destroying team's defenses.
to be fair to Rooney, although his versatility is a great bonus, at his age you cant blame him for wanting to play in his favored position, so if he was upset purely on this issue i'm not too bothered. Ultimately its best for the club and the player if he stays and signs a new contract
