I thought you stepped down as a mod? Maybe you should tell the anonymous hoards of "official complainers" that it's no longer your duty. I mean, Channonfodder seemed fine joining in the discussion, but I'd have thought his inbox would also be rife with complaints of "Godders' thread bemoaning the merits of Football Manager has now modified slightly into discussing the merits of other video games and games in general other than that exact one that the original post was about, something needs to be done about this because I can't bear seeing the topic on my thread list any more!!!".
How does one make an "official complaint" as opposed to just make a complaint only on many an occasion I have wanted to make an official complaint and haven't known how to go about it? Also is an official complaint taken more seriously than any other complaint? What about frivolous complaints? How do they fit into the framework and do you take them seriously? Can we have a sticky "How to complain" so that we can all be clear about how to go about it?
You know what, geeks are awesome. I attended a comic convention in London the other week and the fact that there were so many geeks dressed up in the most crazy costumes who were completely proud of who they are and what they are passionate in, whether it's gaming or manga or anime or comics, should be commended. If the world had more geeks, it would be a better place I think.
Good grief - if people are genuinely spending time complaining about this thread (particularly in this particular spell of the football calendar), I would say they should spend their time doing something more productive, like playing computer games for one. Even Godders couldn't deny that FM is more of a valid activity than complaining about a post-season thread going off-topic and in the wrong location.
I would. I also notice you don't disagree with geeks being awesome, Godders. I'm glad you've finally seen sense.
I would say that anyone from any walk of life can be awesome, and can also be a twat. I'm sure there are many who identify as "geeks" who would be agreeable characters, and others who would irritate me to no end.
Actually old bean it still is my duty I am more in the back ground and step in if necessary.......As for the official complaint side St Godders, at the bottom of each post is a triangular feature which has an exclamation mark in it. That is the route for official complaints of posts or threads that break the rules of the site, or Forum in fans view.
Hey, they're both fairly attractive. The one on the right has a lot of gum showing for some reason but as for the one on the left, all she needs to do is brush her hair a bit and I think wear it so it covers a bit more of her forehead and then she'd look stunning. Then again, if they're happy with how they are, that's all that matters. The purpose of women isn't just to look attractive for men.
I seem to recall that recent research has shown that women take twice as long to get ready to go out with their girl mates as they do to go out with a bloke. It seems impressing and out doing other women is more important than making an impression for a bloke but then blokes don't notice anyway.
You're right in a way, there are other purposes, washing, cleaning, ironing and cooking spring to mind. The way I look at it is thus; every bloke needs a snap dragon, so you might as well get a pretty one.
My mate told me that women get married in white because that is the colour of all domestic appliances.
Have no interest in computer games, so just ignore those parts of the thread. It's good that it mainly goes on Beefy's, but some flexibility should be allowed in dead time (i.e. after the season ends and before Cortese pulls his ****** finger out).
