Hi can anyone tell me who will be on our shirt. I thought bidvest but my mate is adamant that he heard Margaret Byrne say it will be 3663. Someone want to settle this, ta.
I'm sure it's Bidvest, as they are looking to expose the parent company globally. 3663 is a UK brand already.
At least it isn't Wonga!!Bolton's fans soon put a stop on their club using a dodgy lender sponsoring their club!!I wonder if any other clubs will have the ethics of Bolton??
Thought that was nice to see, but utterly ridiculous at the same time. I certainly haven't invested in Africa, and if Wonga or similar sponsored us, I wouldn't get the urge to get ridiculous loans that cripple me. I never used Boylesports or bought a car from Vardy's either.
Just looked on SAFC.com, along the sponsors at the bottom, and Bidvest is there, with a link, with no reference to 3663. This says it for me, why would we not link to the main branding?
I drank plenty of Brown Ale (when they sponsored those up the road) even though i hated the toon (and now have a dislike for Brown Ale, nasty stuff) but i have never liked sugerpuffs.
As has been said if you look on the sponsor part of safc.com it now says Bidvest. Another team sponsored by the same company has Bidvest on the shirt so im fairly certain it will be Bidvest. When the Premier league is watched globally it wouldn't make much sense for them to just advertise their UK arm 3663.
Probably Bidvest for the global market, especially Africa. Here, it's a company you'd only here of if you're in the industry. Mostly distribution. 3663 is massive, but still more industry based than commercial, but you'll see their lorries on the motorway
Pecs mate, Mary Byrne came out in a press conference on Tuesday and said the club would be using the UK branding wing of 3663 as the shirt logo rather than the global branding
