Devastating news mate, so sorry for you and your family's loss. Hope you can all get through this difficult time together.
So sorry for your loss Fings. Its been a horrible summer for this board in every way. Im starting to think its best for me to stay away from meeting QPR fans as I must be some kind of curse.
Really sorry to hear this sad news Finglas. Your family must be devastated. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Such sad news. I'm dearly sorry to hear of your family's loss Finglas. Condolences to all of your loved ones. RIP Conor
Eamo Shocked to hear the news. I take it we are talking about N's brother? I hope he, you, and the family are bearing up OK. I had a brother who passed away at the age of 21 and I was around N's age. It will be tough for him but he's got a real gem of an uncle to help him through it. Whenever you're up for a coffee in Dub, just give me a bell. E
Nah mate, it is just life as we experience it. To me, having just turned 52, for want of a better word, everything in life is a 'numbers' game............... sadly, out of every hundred people, 'x' number of things will happen to. It is just a fact of life. That is why we should value what we have. I know I use to think that we are bullet proof but as I'm getting a little older and hopefully wiser, you start to realise that certain things just happen, so we try to do the best we can with what we have. We are fallible and we are only here for a period of time. Enjoy it, Respect it and those around you. You can do no more than that. Sometimes, we do not get that choice. Sorry for the rant ...................... just trying to put it in plain English and acknowledging 'Flyers' comment that he is NOT a curse. Footnote - Also, I sincerely hope I haven't come across disrespectful to 'Finglas / Conner and family. If I have, please advise and I will change or remove it.
Thanks very much for all the lovely comments Lads. I am deeply touched. As some of you have said, my day out at the Arsenal game is of great comfort to me and to the rest of the family. We will treasure those good memories. To complicate things, 3 of us are currently out in Thailand on holidays. We have managed to change our flights and we return home on Monday just in time for the funeral. Corker, no, it wasn't N's Brother. It was my Sister's son. Will take you up on that offer of a coffee, soon I hope. Thanks again lads. Really appreciate it.
I thought it was me mate. Every time I log on something has gone wrong, Brix (RIP), Bridge, Connor (RIP), Tarbs posts, DT, swords, Aussie and you posting!! Sorry, bad attempt at lightening the mood.!
