tbh I haven't seen enough of him to have a strong opinion.

don't want another Fletcher /McCarthy situation though.

    Richard Dunne ? surely not

Read somewhere celtic have first option on him so will be kept informed. If a bid is accepted they can match. Will depend where on the list of options he lies? while hes decent and cheap. No point signing if we have better options lined up.

Decent player but not outstanding. Don't think he's as good as Fletcher was at his age so whilst wouldn't mind signing him not too fussed if we don't

I'd prefer to work on our youth players than sign Russell, with Miku going we should be looking to bring in another player who should push for a starting place I don't think Russell will do that.

Watt has more to his game than Russell.

Russell has said a few times that he would rather play down south.

    Inside the SPL ‏@AgentScotland 56m

Celtic made official contact with Dundee Utd over Johnn Russell last night and are expected to make an £800,000 bid this afternoon

I'd like to see Russell at Celtic

He's only 23 - with the right coaching he could be a really good player for Celtic.

I'd also like to see Gary Mackay-Steven's at Celtic as well.

These two types of players - along with Sammy and Forrest, would give Lennon options - especially in Europe where teams tend to play with a lone striker and two supporting attcking wide players.

New striker (if hooper goes) with either forrest/russell right side and sammy/gms on the left side.

That would allow commons broon and ledley to play in the middle of the park.

Side note: I just cant see Tony Watt develping further - hope I'm wrong - but he strikes me as a Burchill type.

Russell would be a decent signing. I'd happily take him at Celtic.
