WOW. Just watched this weeks episode. WOW WOW WOW. This show certainly knows how to shock the audience.
This is rapidly becoming my favourite tv series ever, surpassing The Sopranos.
The series finale next week, how are they going to top this weeks episode ?
    Anyone else a fan?

Unfortunately I have had the final episode spoiled for me!

However as a show it is rather good, surprised me with how addictive it is to watch
    Glad I got into it

I have never seen any of the episodes, but have recently just finished reading the book on which the first series is based on, and it was fantastic..If the series is half as good, I may have to buy the box set of it..
I'm now waiting for my oldest son to finish the 2nd book so I can then read that.
    Great stuff..<ok>

Seen some of the early one's topper.

Why is Sean Bean so good in this kind of stuff?

Its absolutely awesome, best show on telly. Quickly overtaking 24 as my all time fav, the threat that at any point a major character can/will be killed off gives it that extra edge over 24 (tho Jack Bauers invincibility does give it a certain quality haha)

    Nothing surpasses the Sopranos.

Currently midway through season five and am finding it difficult to do anything else.

I've watched it through in it's entirety 3 times already and I'm as gripped as I was the first time.

I think I posted on here a couple of months back about Game of Thrones - it has to be (along with Band of Brothers) one of the greatest tv series ever. If you haven`t seen it series 1&2 are on sky box sets. watch the whole lot from the beginning if you can, it`s f****** brilliant!!

I can't get away with it to be honest, but I was exactly the same with the Godfather films which many people raved about, so it must be just a me and a gangster thing..

I have read all 6 books of the Song of Ice and Fire, the game of thrones, that my son bought me as a Xmas pressy. Didn't think it was really my cup of tea, but I just couldn't put it down. I read the lot by mid feb and I'm pouring the ground for the publication of the next and final 2 books, the next is promised in July. I can't believe how addictive the books are, I've not seen the TV series yet but I will.

Same for me - the missus bought me them as a present and they sat untouched for about a year but once I started I couldn't put them down.

I haven't seen the programs much so I'm not sure where you are when you talk about a twist but believe me the twist at the end of the last book you simply do not see coming!!!!

The thing is it took RR Martin the author something like 9 years to write the last book so while I'm hopefully the new ones will be out next year we may have to be a bit more patient!

Never watched it but from what folks are saying I'll have to give it a go. I tend to download a full series and watch episode after episode as I dont like to wait a week between. Just finished the latest series of Justified which is brilliant but not well known about I think.
