Well the Birmingham media have quoted Paul Lambert as saying that he has made No Enquiries for any championship strikers. Villa also linked with Dwight Gayle from Peterborough. Can you immagine what the Villa fans will do to Lambert IF he sells Benteke and Bent and brings in Austin and Gayle ? I would have thought a bid for say Gary Hooper and / or Peter Odemwingie would be a better option for Villa. The whole summer for Aston Villa looks like a battle to keep BENTEKE from whats being said and written about.
