We have the strongest squad in the championship why the **** would we need to weaken it ?....

A theory that they are all useless

The truth is of course that we are not a team nor have we been ... Strongest squad in QPRs history and worse team ... It's not hard to see where we are going wrong IMO

So based on this idea we are about to sell our squad or majority of including the best championship player in recent times Taarabt and buy or risk building a team of numpties to do what ?

Try and bounce back then buy another premiership team ?

Bottom line we are putting a lot of faith into Harold who simply is past it

NW got very lucky as he built a team around one player with a strong supporting cast and the team grew based on that one fact ... Harold is just guessing IMO

Taarabt was sensational in the championship to that there is no arguement Queens etc so of course we should keep him ...

Harold has purposely brought around more disorder to this club than any other manager and his answer is to buy a new team of the right sort ?

FFS Bircham would sort out this lot in a week

We have the players now to piss this bloody league if only we can get someone to build a team from them

That would be Harold who is still the favourite to be the next England manager?
Surely not as bad as some are painting on here is he?

Saint, Im not sure about the Harold comments, but I cant disagree with anything else in the post.

AT may very well be the best player in the NPC..but for 8 million, I'm fairly sure we could look at the reserves of Tottenham (again), Man Utd, City, Gunners, Chelski etc & get a player that will do exactly what he he did last time around..only more consistently.
I'd be VERY surprised if there wasn't another Adel-type player in the prem, running around in a reserve team.
I don't pretend to know all the players in the prem, but the law of averages says its probably true.!

I just think that with 8 million in the NPC, we could easily replace him. Especially as we don't even know if he wants to work with HR any more.

Also believe that he needs to leave to develop as a player.

Indeed DT. Maybe he's a bit like marmite, we don't all like him, but he is the one player we have who can do the unthinkable on the pitch, and take even the opposition fans breath away.

I very much doubt whether we could get 1 player for that amount with anywhere near Taarabt's ability!

You think that there are loads of very talented players just hanging around, waiting to join our joke club?

Taarabt, for all his quirks and annoying ways, would be the creative force to get us out of the Championship. I'm not sure we'll find another one, ready and able to do that.

I read somewhere in the mail the other day about supposedly 700 odd players without contracts ( have expired at season's end ) either retiring, waiting to be picked up / limbo.
Surely there must be a handful of half decent players out there?

How do you know if you havent seen them?

He wasnt even getting a game in Spuds 1st team when we got him & I'd bet most people (me included) hadnt even heard of him before he came to us.

Col, opinions are fine, but your view is very blinkered mate. i.e.

You are saying that if we has 8 million quid and went to all the football clubs in the prem, we wouldn't be able to find another good NPC player at Man City, Man Ure , Chelski etc...?

Because thats al hje has been, a very good NPC player.

So out of 18 or so reserve teams & 700 odd players without contract, we couldn't find another player of his ability. The odds & probabilty stats are stacked very firmly against you mate.
Whilst i respect your admiration for him, I think you may need to take a more objective view ? <ok>
