Hi Mnxy, i'm fine thankyou, how about you? Work commitments have kept me from these board lately, been working away from home, but i'm back locally now so can resume my friendship the hooligan fraternity on the Wallies board have you seen owt of Steve?
The last Shammer in charge of us was SOPPYBOLLOX bonds lasted about 1 year i fink. So **** him off now and save time Dont want the twat ****ing hundreds of jobless managers out there so find someone else Or we will be getting Agent Lomas twats on here
Rant over sorry Posh Dont want no Shammer running my club At least we know if he gets the job and starts off badly the fans will behead him
Welcome back Think I had better hang around for a while .... looks like a nurse maybe needed ... with all the Wallies having seizures
I think they'll all be at your bar Minxy, drowning their sorrows if a certain West Ham legend gets the job no one else in football wants
so we turn down Steve Kean who according to the press will be Mourinhos right hand man at Chelsea, and ask for permission to speak to Steve Lomas, who will cost us a small transfer fee. Seems to me that the board have looked carefully at the appointment of our next manager, and have specifically targeted an individual, who they believe is the ideal candidate for the job. I couldn't give a toss who Lomas played for, as long as he does a decent job. Lets give the new manager a decent welcome, get behind him and ride the Millwall Express into the Prem whilst we wave goodbye to the leeds steam engine chugging behind driven on by their Fat Controller....... COYL...............
Mourinho's right hand? more like his toe nail. He was clueless at Blackburn, his quotes show that; http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/steve-kean-20-damning-quotes-823871 At least Lomas will be bringing style of football suited to us. I don't care if he was playing for vermin; once he signs the dotted line, he will have Millwall in his blood. Harry Cripps came to us from vermin as well.
Ultimately we have to respect the boards decision as they know full well that it won't go down well with all of us given his shammer history, like it or not the board think he's the best man to take the club forward and I'll give him my full support regardless as what's best for the club is the bigger picture and we have to give him a chance. That said I'm sure he's only too aware that he needs to get us off to a good start hitting the ground running because then we'll more likely to forget about his vermin past and not forgetting that King Kenny played a part in his successor so we're told. Think it'll be a long time before we're signing there's only one Steve Lomas though!
It wont last as a MILLWALL fan i would rather go to league 1 with a WALL manager than the Prem with this twat The fans will get him out Lets hope he loses the first 3 games then his next job will be holding up a flyover somewhere in his new concrete overcoat
Well if he gets the job he will be a wall manager. Couldn't give a **** if he played for west ham. What a ridiculous thing to moan about. If he's rubbish then I will have a problem with him or if he had said negative comments about us in the past I would be against his appointment. So Mighty would you prefer Harris to get the job who no doubt loves the club but ultimately probably wouldn't have a clue and we would end up in league 1! But that's ok because he's wall. Unless your comment was sarcastic I nominate you for that well known trophy
nominate me for what you like. id rather have Harris and be in league 1 yes m8 Having this guy in charge will cause us nothing but harm goes against all the grains i know you are only young MFC but you will learn very quickly what this appointment will do to our club and what it means to us older fans After the club’s interest in the 39‑year-old became public, a banner was pinned to gates at The Den telling the former Hammers midfielder, in explicit terms, that he was not welcome. it will get a lot lot worse
lomas is wanted as much as the clap in my opinion i just hope its not another series of **** managers that make it worse than what it is
Other than that he played for West Ham do you have any real issue with him? Not enough experience, not been at a big enough club etc. It doesn't make sense to me to not employ someone simply because he had a job at a club we don't like. It's like if Pep Guardiola (just imagine) had once played at hammers but for some reason thought 'I'd like a fresh challenge I'll have a go at Millwall'. You wouldn't employ him just for that even though he's a fantastic manager? I can't say I was excited that Lomas was in the running but if by some miracle he can turn the crud of a team we have into anything approaching a competitive team I would delighted. Probable outcome will be that some fans will be very hostile should he get the job. A poor start or run of form at any point in the season will lead to lomas out etc and either getting sacked or ****ing off. We then have interim manager and we get relegated anyway but at least we can be in league 1 with no west ham connection. It's cutting off the nose to spite the face and then gouging out your eyes and hacking off your ears for good measure.
