well if it is to be believed that they are trying to use him as a bargaining tool to get Suarez, sounds like they want rid of him personally, so wouldn't make much sense in that regard. maybe they need to off load a few, could be get a high wage earner off the bill, bit like Schneider.

RHC did say it wasn't an Inho, but cant remember if that was before or after he knew who it was, so could be Ronaldinho or Robinho.

what was Suarez reaction to when he was linked to Bayern? don't remember exactly but it wasn't as in your face news as they seem to be doing with Real.

  4. It was this morning before he knew. How old is Robben nowadays? 30? Not sure I'd want him for more than £10m and would need decent wages too.

    RHC on Robben
    "No comment."

    My reply
"So is this to do with the Robben + £20m for Suarez rumour? Or were we interested before?"

    RHC
"In answer to another question [Sir-Red's], discussions were already taking place on this when the Suarez crap kicked off, which is why it may now be compromised. As I type, it's still ongoing."

    Surely Robben then?

...suggested we might have interest in Robben about 30 pages ago given Bayern's summer cleanout <whistle>

Regardless, I can't see why he'd move to us. We won't interest him without CL football, we can't afford his wages and tbh, he's pushing the wrong end of his career. And he's a grade A **** <ok>

Sincerely doubt Robben would consider us.

  11. Is that the 'drop to the floor like a sack of spuds resulting in Reina getting sent off' game?

I could see why BR would fancy Robben. Experienced, driven (when he's arsed), win at all costs, quality player. Is he a character in the dressing room? Not sure tbh but can imagine him roaring up the wing and cutting in on that sweet left peg.

Whether he would consider LFC is another matter. One last fling with the prem league perhaps? Personally I would welcome him to LFC.

yeah I can't stand the bloke on the pitch but to be fair this is what everyone outside of Liverpool thinks about Suarez - they both just want to win at all costs

On other news, City agreeing fee of £34m for Fernandinho from Shaktar might put an end to rumours of us and that Henri Markryan guy who we have never heard of. A lot of money from that, surely wont be in need to sell.

  17. They saved that by getting Kolo Toure off their books...<whistle>

I heard we gave Kolo Toure a £15m signing on fee + £150k-a-week wages. Disgrace, Ayre out.
