Going on holiday for two weeks in July and I need some reading, thought I buy some footballer autos.

Gonna get Ibra's one definitely, what are the best ones you've all read?

Carra's is superb. You just know he had a heavy hand in it and it wasn't all ghost-written.

I read a little of Gerrards.

  5. Gerrard's, Carragher's, Kenny's and Fowler's are very good. Torres' was a good read but that was before he raped us! I quite enjoyed Barnes' and Rushie's too. I've got about a dozen at home but can't remember too many others.

Don't go for Gazza's (too depressing) or Pele's (no idea what he's talking about half the time).

Kenny's done a couple, both of which are good, as is Fowler's, as Gerrez says. Carra's is the best <ok>

  7. Yeah, I've read both of Kenny's. I think Gerrard's done two too? I've only read his first one.

I couldn't say Carragher's was the best but that is because i enjoyed Robbie's and Stevie's equally as much, they are all very good <ok>

Carra, Fowler, Gerrard all good. El Macca about his time at Madrid is good. Epic Swindle is pretty eye opening.

If you want a laugh you can get Ashley COle or Rooney's book?

" I nearly spit my tea out at the 70k a week they were offering! How dare they!" Ya, hard times Ashley...... <doh>

Yeah I looked at the Rafa one today, might get that and Ibras.

Any other player outside of liverpool?

  16. I was tempted with two more but I will wait for them to come down in price first: Pepe's and Bellamy's.

I've not read many non-Liverpool related books TBH.

I have a short Maradona one that was a freebie with a magazine, it was the first one I read and subsequently got me into them.

As I said above, Gazza's and Pele's too but I don't recommend either. The former's is great in the first third when he is talking about his time at Newcastle, Spurs and Lazio plus England, but the rest is about his drinking, alcohol, aggression and family problems etc. The latter's is about places, clubs and people in Brazil so I had no idea what he was talking about most of the time. I'm still short of half way through it but I've not picked it up for over two years <yikes>

The only other one I have that is non-Liverpool related is nothing to do with football...the Krays <ok>

  17. Just been having a bit of a sort out, I've got Dwight Yorke's book too. Read about three quarters of it, its not the greatest but its alright. (I bought it in a sale, cost about £1.50 <laugh>)

The Craig Bellamy one could be worth a read.
