Just back from watching Star Trek. Loved it, but then I always have. When I was at Uni, you couldn't squeeze in the common room when it was on.

Growing up, I always preferred Star Wars (yeah, a bit of water under that crumbling bridge now). But JJ's 2009 film is so much better than anything Lucas has ever put together, they shouldn't even be in the same category now.

My only experience of Star Trek is the JJ Abrams films, however they are both awesome! I'd like to get into Star Trek the tv series but there's so many different series and episodes it's hard to know where to start. Especially when most of them aren't on TV (although I think they showed some on Syfy).

I love the Star Wars films, particularly the older ones. Haven't seen the new Star Trek films but with so many people fawning over them, I think I'll have to give them a go at some point.

Yes, I love the Star Wars films too. All five of them.

A schizophrenic man got dumped by his girlfriend, and took to the streets in a van. He admitted that he intended to hurt people.

He ran over women and children and swerved for them during the school run.

He knocked one woman over as she pushed her kids out the way, then backed up and reversed over her. She died. Others were hospitalised.

Police tried to stop him but he went for them and carried on. They eventually slammed him off the road on a motorway.

Phantom Menace. RoTS was alright if you ignore how ridiculous Anakin's descent into the darkside was ("What have I done?!" after chopping off Windu's arm, then about five minutes later killing Younglings without a slightest thought). Likewise AoTC was quite good if you ignore the love-scenes between Anakin and Padme.

Another sadly depressing piece of news. Those poor children who would have seen their mother killed in front of them, having just pushed them to safety. RIP

I loved Phantom Menace when it first came out, but I was about 10 at the time. Saw it multiple times at the cinema. Now I just think the three newest ones are alright but still love the older ones.

The only good thing about episodes I, II and III is Natalie Portman. Literally the only good thing.

EDIT: Scratch that. Samuel L Jackson.

And Neeson in I! Also, wasn't episode I Natalie Portmans breakthrough film?

The Geonosis arena scene was pretty good in AoTC though
