agree about signing Wayne Bridge. He's looked a class above in the Championship at Brighton. Crouchie is a near certainty too.
Some interesting comments from 'Arry on Talksport too. Looks like Cesar, Traore and Taarabt are off and he refers to players who could play on Saturday and not train until Friday. (Hill? Derry? Zamora?) He also said he wouldn't put much money on player movement at QPR this summer. (You'd need to take a pinch of all the salt in the world with that one m'thinks.) If Taarabt really is off then we do need some creativity in midfield, maybe hence the Brentford lad being linked?
If Harry lets or causes Adel to leave, then I'll be joining the apparently growing numbers who want Harry gone.
Harry has moaned since day one about the team not being his. If TF gives him what he wants I will judge him then. I personally think we do need a couple of more experienced players like Crouch, Bridge and Parker plus some of the youner players mentioned. Unfortunately bar Nelsen none of the older players we signed last term were leaders.
These days I'm ambivalent towards Taarabt; neither care whether he stays or goes. Have grown tired of the controversy that constantly surrounds the lad, although admit not all is his doing. Undoubtedly gifted, he needs a far more mature temperament now. There are younger players in the PL these days with far better attitudes, commitment and desire, though possibly not potential. And therein lies the ongoing disappointment with our Moroccan. Perhaps it's time to make this a little more about Adel Taarabt and a little more about Queens Park Rangers FC.
Very interesting list of suggestions, very persuasive. My one reservation would be Parker, purely because the description immediately reminded me of Park Ji Sung and we all know how well that turned out.
As we've seen, once players who rely on pace or fitness lose that, they have nothing left. that's why 9 times out of 10 we should refuse any old players. Owen before injuries is a world class player, Owen without pace can't even make the stoke side.
