    if it is Robben this could drag a bit.

    i see why he may want to play along side the quality of Suarez, but on the other hand he must have better offers surely because of our situation, ie no European football of any kind.

    then again sleeping giant, he knows what European nights are like from his Chelsea days, and he may want to be part of getting us that again, but only if it looks like Suarez stays.

    the quicker this Suarez situation is sorted the better, be nice if he gave us the chance to see how ambitious we was player wise in the transfer market before allegedly wanting away.

    1 step forward 2 back all the ruddy time.

    Don't see why Robben would join us personally. He's what, 30 now? As said above we're not in the CL, so why would he want to wait 1-2 years to possibly be in it, we're not even in the Europa. We can't even match the wages he's on now, let alone better it, or better any potential offers he does get. On the other hand he knows the club, knows what we're about, but I just don't see it happening.

    RHCs bloody admitted it pretty much by saying "I will not comment if someone gets it right" and then saying "no comment" to the Robben guess. I then asked if it was to do with the current Robben +20£m Suarez rumours and RHC said the talks started before the suarez rumours.
