So there were three main candidates that came through nominations, and a couple of others received a handful of votes so as such there will be five nominees to vote upon to decide the goalkeeper who put in the best performance against Saints in the Premier League this season.

    Simple as that!

For those voting Mignolet, was that at their place? I was in the US and missed that game.

It's goals that count, and Ben Foster didn't let any in against us. He may not have made any spectacular saves but two clean sheets are pearls beyond price in the Prem.

I seem to remember us being pretty **** against a few teams last season! No-one else stopped us scoring in both games though.

He was 2nd for me. Mignolet 1st. The rest were a long way behind for me considering Al Habsi made zero saves DW Stadium and could have done better with the Lambert goal, Howard let Ramirez score a free header open goal from 4 yards at Goodison Park from a corner and Begovic let in 3 at the Britannia. I think we can tell by the poll a lot of people don't watch every game. It's likely there are plenty only watching home games.

Mignolet currently a length in front, Howard and Begovic really the only ones who could catch him with a day to go.

I did consider nominating him but thought it was a bit harsh on poor old Paulo. <laugh>

I wouldn't class either in the top 5

lloris, de gea, mignolet, cech, begovic, hart and even courtois are better than either of those two. You could make a case for foster and ruddy also, they are definitely better than tremmel anyway.
