Could you not be doing something productive like colouring in your son's cast and perhaps adding a bit of glitter to it.
I broke my elbow on a stag weekend last year and never got a cast put on it because I'm a big boy too. I hope he broke his ankle playing football, or doing something else manly.
My youngest has chickenpox and I've spent two days telling him to go away from me because I've never had it.
Absolutely happy to help you through this time, which Im sure was initially quite worrying when the wee man got his broken ankle. Im sure you are taking great care of him. Maybe to help pass the time we could discuss whether or not anyone has ever been winner of the week two weeks in a row, I cant accurately recall myself, though Im sure a diligent and conscientious mod like yourself would probably know.

They don't put a cast on the elbow as it loses movement and ultimately seizes in the position it's set.
I did get told that but I thought I wouldn't mention it here so I sounded more of a tough guy like Jip's son. Cheers for that.
