Morning All Just a very quick one day as just been in car accident. (AND YEAH, i'M FINE) Manchester City think they can tempt Leeds to sell Byram by offering them Wabara, plus cash. Wabara has been out on loan for the last three seasons at various clubs but was unable to make an impact at Blackpool, make just one substitute apppeance since his loan transfer in January. McDermott reckons they are four deals in place but obviously we do not know who they are and whether the offers have been accepted.... Who do we think they are?
Morning All I think we know who 3 of the 4 are and that's Wabara, Sharp and Mills. As for loosing Byram resigned myself to the fact we were going to loose him anyway so getting a player in return as well as cash for me isn't that bad a deal. Hopefully he'll do better the Welsh Wonder Morision
"The Times has tonight sensationally reported that the teenage son of a friend of recently appointed Leeds United vice-chairman Salah Nooruddin could force his way into the academy. Idris Tahar, 18 years of age, was given a trial at Thorp Arch and rejected on the grounds that he was “simply not good enough”. As reported by James Ducker, Tahar’s rejection has caused tension at the club. Despite his friend’s son showing no aptitude for the game over a series of trials, Nooruddin has reportedly caused “an ugly stand-off” by insisting that Tahar be given a place at the club’s academy, famous for producing quality player after quality player over the years, not least the likes of Sam Byram and Tom Lees who have recently been selected to represent England in this summer’s international tournaments. Nooruddin was appointed as Leeds’s vice chairman two weeks ago, and with this appointment came rumours that he was being lined up as Ken Bates’s replacement when the incumbent chairman retires at the end of the season. Nooruddin has ties to IIB, the bank that purchased a ten percent stake in Leeds United earlier this year. With rumours regarding GFH’s continued ability to fund the club rampant and the merger of a GFH owned bank with another local institution in order to shore up their security announced yesterday, this new news will likely not come as a positive for Leeds fans, well versed in the notion of owners with no understanding making trouble for their club. Speculation has also become rampant in the last few weeks as to the whereabouts of Salem Patel, who remains, according to the latest announcement, a director of the club. Regarded by those who have spoken to him as a genuine, honest character who seemed to have been bitten by the Leeds bug, Patel’s absence is unfortunate, especially as it seems to have coincided with the appointment of Nooruddin, who has seemingly shown his lack of credentials with this bizarre and nepotistic move." That's signing number 1
Morning all!! Unlucky with your prang but at least you are fine. Saw this quote on twitter this morning: @WYSDaily: McDermott: "There's no point bringing me 200 miles from home and not doing what we said we'd do. It's not just supporting me, but the club." Also, what's this crap about GFH trying to force Leeds to sign an 18 year old waster? Naylor not chuffed!! Maybe this is one of the four offers
Lol thanks TC, looks like we posted simultaneously. Worrying article in Times, we may well be in a bit of trouble with these clowns starting to behave this way!
