Definately one of the worst, but not at the KC. Some of PT's signings were bad, seem to recall Woodhouse as being overrated & not good either. Halmosi was one of the worst I saw, but to be fair he wasn't really given a chance. Pretty much fell out with Brownie on day 1.
For me though, it had to be the huge disappointment of Zaki.

He was a right back / right midfielder. Defo not a striker.

Worst I've ever seen at the KC is either Junior Lewis or James Harper, they just had no ability at all

Over-rated probably Prozzy based on this season but overall I'm going for Daryl Duffy, just cack!!

Depends what you mean by over-rated. The likes of Manucho, Halmosi and Prossy were all over-rated in the sense that we thought they'd be good before we saw them play, but usually over-rated means at the time they played for us doesn't it? With that in mind it was definitely Anthony Gardner for me. He was just utter ****e and from what I can remember, people seemed to think he was alright/competent. No one ever agrees with me on that but I'd just love to sit down with everyone who disagrees and go through the 09/10 season review, pointing out all the goals that were completely his fault. It'd take a while mind.

Some harsh picks in these threads. I thought Parlour was a pretty decent loan signing and his performances were of a pretty decent standard.

Halmosi would probably stand out, I think we just killed his confidence before he even got started.

Danny Webb maybe? We've had so many ****e players in the lower leagues that when people like Antony Gardner get mentioned they are world class in comparison to some of these donkeys

Just noticed am stretching the 'KC era' a bit too much here! Doesn't seem that long to me maybe but am guessing for younger fans that era is their whole experience with us. What went before was horrific in comparison!

Facey was a Peter Taylor signing if I remember rightly. Maybe the Back-to-Back Promotion campaign, 04/05.

Yeah got him mixed up with somebody else I think, he actually had a bit of pace but was a typical lower league sort lacking ability

personaly didn't think Daryll Duffy was that bad - scored a good goal in a 3-0 win at Stoke I seem to recall and a thumping volley at the KC in a League Cup tie (can't remember who it was against other than being a Lg1 or 2 side)

Halmosi was a massive disappointment at £2.5m - Brownie sacked him off early doors yet it was him that fooking head hunted him all summer!!

Craig ***an - I never understood the appeal of someone who ran hard but couldn't play football

    Ok from the stated era...

    Worst: Cullen by a mile

    Most Over Rated: Barmby

Sure he was born in Hull, but he was long past his best by date when he eventually decided he needed a place to retire and be worshiped. He got what he wanted, until stepping out of his depth and thinking he could be a manager. Still gets idolised from then too which baffles me. Didn't rate him for England or any of his other clubs. Always struck me as an angry shortarse who could sometimes put a semi decent pass in.

<laugh> Most clueless post of the week.

I can't understand why some people didn't think he was right for the managers job, but suggesting he wasn't a good footballer is ****ing ridiculous.

<laugh> Most predictable post of the week. I can't understand why anyone would think he WAS right for the managers job despite the evidence we witnessed. He as an OK footballer, not as awesome as made out was my point for that.

Sam Collins came and went pretty unspectacularly.

Nicky Fetherstone, who was tipped to be our next rising star, is now an overweight Walsall midfielder.

An ageing Richard Sneekes was never really going to do much either.

Seemed to be like one minute Cullen was scoring against Wigan, and then the next he's signing for Luton. God when he scored that goal against Wigan he must of thought that his career was going to go bang from there!
