Darlo v the lads, not606 jaunt?

Darlington will host pre-season games against fellow North East sides Sunderland and Middlesbrough. Quakers will also travel to Gateshead as they prepare for their Evo-Stik First Division North campaign.


Martin Gray’s men open their pre-season fixtures with a trip to Whitby Town on July 14th before heading to Newton Aycliffe on July 17th. Quakers then visit Darlington Railway Athletic on July 18th before entertaining Sunderland on July 20th and Middlesbrough on July 23rd.

A trip to the International Stadium follows as Darlington take on Gateshead on the 27th. Three days later and Quakers take on Whitley Bay before a trip to Durham City on August 2nd.

Quakers are also expected to organise another two friendly games shortly. The official site will of course keep you up to date when these are confirmed. The full pre-season fixture list can be seen below:

Darlington won't be hosting anybody. They're guests in someone else's home.

If I'm off work and not on holiday, then I will definitely be up for it.. I might even go to see Sunderland play Darlington as well..
