Good advice DM. I gave up smoking 10 months ago and feel so much better for it. I've bulked up a fair bit since I took up weight training, going from 11st to 12st 6lb in 10 months and no doubt will gain more weight as I gain more muscle. I didn't think I would be able to gain muscle and an athletic physique at my age.....

How wrong was I!! I love training and feel so guilty if I miss a session, which is rare and made up for by completing the missing training over the weekend. ;)

    BTW, I'm 5' 6'' so a little shorter than you :)

Good stuff Dorset mate, keep off those nasty smokes. How much more weight do you want to put on? I'm thin-boned so 12 stone is perfect for me, my arms and chest are well-developed but here's the thing....my missus hates my new muscular shape <laugh> I reckon she's jealous of the admiring glances I've been getting recently from other birds <whistle>

Not sure about the additional weight TBH. I suppose my body will tell me that's enough when I get there. I'm not sure that I would like to be hitting 14st in another 10 months! :emoticon-0165-muscl

Funny you should mention your other half because mine is exactly the same <laugh> She doesn't like muscles at all.
