Never mind Rickie why wasn't Guly playing for Brazil?

Guly would have more than held his own in that Brazil side this evening.

 

I like Guly but this is over doing it just a little.

So who would he have replaced? Neymar? Oscar? Hulk? Etc.

 

Anyone of them.

 

The boy Chamberpot did ok though, didn't he? Having spent the last 2 years telling Arsenal fans they've got a great prospect there if Wenger doesn't waste him, I feel personally vindicated.

 

In three or four years time over half the England first team would have come through Southampton FC.

Alex, Theo, Nathaniel, Rodriguez, Luke, Adam and Jack. Now wouldn't that be something to crow about?

 

Provided j rod, clyne, shaw, lallana and cork are at saints then yes i will be pleased.

With some of that way off target finishing, I reckon Guly would have fitted in pretty well this evening- especially in the first half! (still, I'd rather our Guly than that over hyped annoying little bratfer Neymar!!!!)

 

Why wasn't Ramires (Chelsea) playing? And was it just me or did Brazil look like total long ball merchants? Until they scored, at least.

 

I'd like Neymar at Saints, purely so we could sell him for a massively over-inflated price....
