Too true TC, we should do what the French did and ban the burqa in public places but that would mean our politicians growing a pair of bollocks and not giving a **** about upsetting the ****ing PC brigade ****ers - it'll never happen
What gets me is that the Uni where I work at in Islamabad, Holloway road actually take the pictures for their security swipe cards of the students wearing the burqa! What's the ****ing point, so again too ****ing frightened to ask them to show their face even only for a quick picture for fear of offending them! **** sake this is our country so abide by our rules or else so **** your sharia law courts and your Ramadan right up your arse - even the convict woman PM told told them in no uncertain terms to abide by their Aussie rules and way of life or leave the country if you don't like it and that's coming from a Labourite! If only our politicians would grow a pair.
Have too agree with you, Stevo, about growing some balls, but, she is a woman (they tell me) and she is/was Welsh. Doesn't that tell you something? And as for 'laying down the law' about living in Australia, its all just bulls**t. As a polititian she wouldn't dare say or do anything positive to re-enforce what she may have alluded to. As for ID photos of women in burqas, I heard this story from a comedian over here, God, I hope its true. Three women in Burqas on the top of the Eifel Tower. One took a photo of the other two, then handed the camera to her friend who then took another photo of the other two. Crazy or what?
