<ok> to that. Great new menu.

It was a protein supplement thing that just arrived this morning and I was in a bit of a rush so I just made one and necked it for breakfast. Wasn't hungry then till gone mid day.

I've been having these Livesmarter replacement ones at dinner and will carry on till they run out then use this protein one from PhD. So far it's been fine having one at dinner, I do occasionally have some soup if I'm starving but no bread.

Breakfast is the awkward one, I work up in Hereford in the week so stay away two or three nights in a B&B, with breakfast paid for wich tends to be tpast based.

Last week I just had bacon and eggs, no toast. Not ideal I suppose but as long as the bacon is grilled. I driive up tomorrow morning so it'll be the replacement for breakfast on the way up instead. Not missing the bread at all yet.

Will also have a Pizza Express this week but will go for a Leggera (birds pizza!)

Yeah I was there last week first time In a while, had that leggera thing with some garlic bread. Honestly up there with anything I've had eating out before.

Fair dos, I think soup is best for lunch when losing weight, especially if you make a batch at the weekend.

If you want some new protein shakes, my Mrs is going to be selling them soon.

They havent been released here yet.. It is meant to be one of these miraculous accidental discoveries. The stuff was formulated as a protein shake for athletes to boost your performance but having tested it people lost weight without doing exercise and its meant to tone muscle. It all sounds bollocks to me. but her sister is importing it over as they reckon it is the next big thing... I will try some and see if its bollocks. her sister was having one a day and lost 9lbs in a week. without exercise.

It conceivable enough that if you use one as a meal replacement as part of a controlled diet you could lose that in a week, if you have it to lose.

(I sound like a ****ing salesman there)

Bit sceptical on it being the miracle cure though but who knows eh?

I'm trying that route anyway, so far so good. I'll vary which meal it replaces to suit what I'm doing and then make sure I don't blow if by having pie, curry and chips for tea everynight.

    Anyway, golf update.

The massive concrete pour we were due to do and my bridge is now happening on Thursday, feeing me up for Wednesday. HOWEVER, I have been called to a meeting back down here (I'm off today folks, lucky me eh?) on Wedneaday afternoon which could khybosh it. I am trying to get that rescheduled for Thursday afternoon instead seeing as how I will be heading down this way that evening anyway. Will keep you posted.

The code is HYTF5863 and it's for two courses for a tenner, today to Friday this week.

Any starter OR Dessert and any classic or leggera pizza, pasta or salad. The thin crust is an extra £1.50.

This code can be used once so hopefully someone won't nick it off you. I've two hotmails so have two codes!!

Had an amusing incident on the way to work this morning, bit of mental road rage going on.

    Will need to build up the scene;

Along the seafront passing town is dual carriageway but pretty much slow moving 30mph **** with traffic lights everywhere. As you reach the centre of town there is a long row of B&B's and pubs where at this time cars are still parked so there is a need to filter from the nearside lane into the outside one which is the free running one, there's generally a queue to do this but there are two set of lights just prior so easy enough to filter in.

I'm in the nearside lane. I go through the lights and indicate to move into the outside lane where I see in my wing mirrow a white Audi (A7 sportback, very nice as it goes, brand new) who accelerates as there's no way on God's earth the pleb in the Ford is going in front of him. He goes past, I pull in behind and mouth W A N K E R quite clearly to him and smile. He screeches to a halt and gets out!

He has a look and starts to walk over so I wind my window down and tell him to grow up and get back in the ****ing car, so he flicks the vee's, decides against taking it any further, and does this. He then screeches off again and approaches the cars in front. I pull up behind him, he looks in his mirror, I start laughing and he screeches off again, straight into the back of the stationary car in front.

I then drive past, slowly, as he says to the bloke in the car "it was his fault".

****ing bellend. Not much visual damage to his Audi, more's the pity. Hopefully enough to cost him a couple of grand though.

My dad had a similar incident a few years back. On his morning drive to work there's a dual carriageway approaching a roundabout, where the left hand lane is always backed up for half a mile or so in rush hour as the left turn is to the motorway slip road. My dad's in the left lane one morning going about 15-20mph and about ten yards from the car in front when some twat in an Audi races up the outside and dives in front of him into the tiny gap. My dad honks his horn, the Audi driver slams on his brakes two yards in front and my dad goes into the back of him.

There was no damage to either car, but the other bloke decided to claim on his insurance alleging £4,000 worth of damage. My dad went to court where it turned out the judge drove that exact same way to work and had witnessed other twats doing exactly the same thing on a regular basis.

To cut a long story short, the other driver had to cover all costs and got an absolute bollocking from the judge. My dad was smug a **** about it - he actually came round to my house straight after court just to boast about it <laugh>

Think I would have a starter rather than dessert. That rissotto looks nice, I had the meatballs last time and they were top drawer.

Got to be large Peroni on the side though!

I had one of those adreneline surge moments mind. As he got out of the car I was immediately thinking that this knuckle head wouldn't do this if he wasn't going to kick my car or something, I can see me having to get out.
You could see the doubt in his face immeditately though as the bravado wore off, he clearly agreed that growing uo and getting back in the car was sound advice!!

He could have been an utter psycho, guess I'll never know. Although his car is way more stand out than mine so maybe I will see him again on our relaxing commute. Looking at him had I got out I would say I am far bigger but that means **** all, the **** could be second dan something or other.

I'd be first to admit I use the vee's liberally when in the car, although in this instance my decrition of him being a ****er was accurate.
