I agree but the culture is different. As a nation Spain have invested a lot of time and resources into youth development and the clubs still represent the areas and communities they are based in.

This is very true. So much so, that i learnt on my coaching courses that the FA are now implementing systems so we produce talent like Spain have done recently. They are teaching us coaches a "way" which is based on what the Spanish have done over the last 10 years or so.

It'll never work, IMO.

We need to be aiming somewhere between England's style and Spain's. So, Germany's basically.

The Premier League is all about money, nothing else is matters. Not the fans, developing youth or anything else. Very overrated league.

So you agree that it shames Premier League clubs(and plenty of other clubs) to see a team do well in the patient and organic way they've gone about things? That's all I'm saying.

Yeah but I think the root cause of it all is the FA selling us all out to Sky. The environment they created means clubs will always prioritise money over everything else, especially given the £100m difference between the Premier League and Football League.

now they are favourite to win the PL next season, if Ronaldo returns and Fabregas joins us to us they would still be favourites

Are you joking? If Fabregas and Ronaldo go to Man Utd, I could manage them to the title, let alone Moyes. I wouldn't, obviously, but I could if I wanted.

I would happily manage them to the title once or twice. What is Moyes on salary wise? It can't be too shabby. Obviously after a couple (3 at most) seasons i would want to step aside to allow the Spurs domination to begin, lol.

I would take the job, but contrive to screw it up in the first season, so they will sack me. They then have to keep paying me till the end of my contract, which I would enjoy from an executive box at White Hart Lane. Lovely.

Ronaldo is 28 now. If Real mean to cash in, they'll have to do it soon..

Realistically i don't see Bale staying at Spurs for another 3 years unless something miraculous happens and we start winning the league, so maybe we should try for a Ronalda+cash deal for Bale? I wouldn't be unhappy with that, lol

Yes because Ronaldo will want to display his talents in the EL <laugh>

come on mate you cant seriously believe that Ronaldo will end up at Spurs thats just delusional.

Like I say he will sign a new 3 year deal but will only stay 1 of the 3 years then will be back off too United Bale will go to Madrid in his place.

Realistically, if we don't up the quality and depth of our squad, I don't think we can keep him. However, if we can do that and produce CL football, I think he'll stay. He's happy & settled, and has a great relationship with his team mates & with AVB.
