Cheese comes from a plant

Heard about this on the radio news this morning.

The one that flabbergasted me was some kids thought fish fingers came from chickens - despite the word "fish" in the name of the food.

 

Additional factoid:-

You do get cheese from plants. Thistles have a'cheese' inside the bulbous part at the top of the plant.

 

The next thing they'll be telling us is that humans are descended from aliens.

 

Didn't know that.

**** eating thistle cheese though.

 

We had a cheese plant, no cheese on it though.

It isn't up to schools to teach kids about everything, the fat lazy slob parents ought to make some effort.

Food comes from shops. That's all you need to know, kids.

 

I know, I thought it was common knowledge they contain horsemeat.

 

With the recent revelation that much supermarket 'beef' actually comes from horse, who can confidently say that cheese doesn't come from plants?

 

What about egg plants?

 

with all the ****e scandals, you really can't be sure where cheese comes from unless you watch the horses actually udder the milk yourself

 

If things carry on as they are the kids here will end up as thick as the Paddies

Or worse, they could be as ******ed as the Aussies

 

Or the Americans .
