For me it has to be this chap.... And yours?
Pardew in the crowd and Cisse in the crowd were fantastic. I love that sort of reaction, pure emotion and passion for the game. I know it was stupid and got him booked out but Tino with his shirt on the corner flag was hilarious. Nolan's chicken dance will live long too simply because it became synonomous with that game! Lua Lua and Martins flips were exciting to watch, remember that one where Martins slipped a little as he did it but it made no difference? Malcolm Allen wheeling away bearing his tooth missing grin was funny. Temuri's was good for emotion. He was a headless chicken but he was our headless chicken. Jose Enrique - that meant a lot to him. On acrobatics, can anyone remember Steve Watson's throw in the Tyne Tees derby when 16yr old at Ayresome Park?
Agreed. The first one I thought of. It was unique. No-one in English football had their own custom celebration. Wish he'd done it after nutting Keith Curle.
For me it has got to be the Alan Shearer one arm in the air and wheeling away celebration. Not dramatic or robotic or overly acrobatic, just everything about the Toon, and that player that l cherish. Other flashy celebrations will come and go, but for me, the Shearer goal celebration is iconic and timeless.
Was priveliged enough to be in the crowd for the away game at Blackburn where shearer actually did different goal celebrations. So proud to see that cringeworthy crossbow imitation
Words shmords, I'm glad the team talked him out of actually using a longbow. Oh Shearer and his notioriously crazy life.
