I actually like the badge - but not enough that I would complain if they changed it. I do think we should keep the 'New Forest', 'Solent' and 'Roses' elements to the badge though - less fussed about the scarf, football and halo.

I voted never but after some thought I may be open to a new badge. But why spend money and waste time when there are more important things to be focusing on?

That's like saying why spend money on marketing? It's all part of the mix.

Gold logo used on Adidas poster... hints at black and gold away kit.

Or it's just the first style of logo they pulled out of the corporate fun bag?

Well in any case it must be the first. Some awful editing and design on that poster thing. Seriously tin pot.

Did a black/silver logo hint at a black/silver away kit? It's simply the choice they've use for that logo. It's just coincidence.

The black/silver logo wasn't ever used for an official kit announcement though. Just on Twitter/Facebook and in the corporate suites.

I like our current logo, it's iconic

No need for a change in my opinion

However, I think I may have spotted my avatar somewhere else in this thread...

It needs to be updated some how it looks a little cartoony to me. I like the silver version we did , hopefully we can have something like that as our badge.

We need to keep the scarf, its part of our heritage. The city was built on its fantastic scarf manufacturing industry and we should pay homage to it.

How do you like that then, Fran and Godders..?

    Saints Stripes & Roses.jpg

With apologies to those who know full well that I've used a Lancashire Rose and two Yorkshire roses. They look similar enough for this.

Roses are too detailed....wanted a simpler design, but close.

OK for the Saints Ladies team (misogyny rules OK) but come on as a bloke would you wear that?

Tbh, if I'd played well enough as a kid during my trial for Saints to consider me for their Youth scheme, I'd have played in my underpants and a dirty t-shirt. The badge would easily have been the best thing. :)

It's not necessarily what it looks like but what it represents.

Surely a simpler version of TheSecondStain's design is basically just the one I posted with stripes instead of halves? ;)

the current Saints crest is the prettiest and coolest crest there is. Lots of colour and very aestheitcally pleasing unlike many others that resemble the queens coat of arms and such like.

I would say that in terms of coolness that Forest is the only one that comes close.

I would add that I would be more annoyed at the crest being changed than I would be if we never returned to stripes.

Can't believe some have used words like 'lame' and 'dated'. It looks super cool.

So in my boredom, I decided to see what I could create within 5 minutes or so, before my milk got warm. Here it is...
