    This is what astounds me about some people.

    We've beaten Brazil 2-1 at Wembley and drawn 2-2 in Brazil.

    Of course, we're so **** that it must be a poor Brazil side... <doh>

    Good results but Brazil haven't looked one of the best sides for quite some time. 2013 played 6 friendlies, won 1 drawn 5. Conceding plenty of goals too. Chile, England, Russia, Italy all managing draws, Bolivia succumbing to them. Last Copa America 2011 - dumped out in QF by Paraguay. Last World Cup 2010 - dumped out in QF by Holland. While the rankings are a bit silly, dropping to 19th does tell a bit of a tale. They did do quite well in friendlies in 2012 but still lost a couple and drew. They showed flashes of class against lower ranked teams like China, Iraq. They might still do well in next world cup because they are at home in the World Cup, have a young developing side and a year to sort it out, but this is no vintage Brazilian side at present on all known evidence.

    Well, Brazil created almost thirty shots on the England goal and got twenty on target - they're really not that bad.

    It would nice to see some proper, balanced views when it comes to England - the players were indeed run-ragged first half against a very good team but then dug-out an excellent second-half response.

    Too many negative England-haters jumping on the media bandwagon.

    I thought we did really well. We are making slow progress in the right direction to me. We're not as bad as some people make out. We are not one of the best sides in the world but we're not one of the worst like some would have you believe! If you put this England side up against just about any team in say October time, you'd probably find they'd give most of them a decent game, even the likes of Germany or Spain.

    People will always get on their back, not many real England fans left to be honest.
