Rodwell - who has played about 3 minutes this season is now on.

The likes of Lallana should be given a shout ahead of him.

Cleverly, Henderson, Lallana and countless other English midfielders have had good seasons. How Rodwell makes the squad baffles me. Nothing against him, he'll have a good career, but he's not earned his spot on merit for this season.

You gotta wonder why Rooney amongst others are even in the team given their form and contribution

Agree with bow, a lot of players have had better seasons than Rodwell, Henderson being one of them <ok>

Henderson is only second to Lampard in stats this season. As for Rodwell, he will get picked as he is at a big club... now

I think he's been okay actually in the second half.

    Yup

    Henderson
    Lallana
    Cleverly

    All ahead of Rodwell.

    Lambert why not.

Yeah but the problem for them is they like to play with the ball at their feet. Roy likes players who run a lot and hold their position, none of this creative and goalscoring midifelders stuff.

2v2 in Brazil is no mean feat.

Horrendous first half, decent second half.

OK not a great chance, they may make the semis and a lot depends on who they get I suppose, a team that can defend is their biggest worry, cos they cannot defend they depend on outscoring you. Some great players but their shape, or lack of when they ain't got the ball will be their undoing, just wait and see <ok>
