Far too soon to be giving up on Debuchy. He was poor but looks the type to improve with time and patience. Has found the physical nature of the league a problem. Many have taken time like Solano, Colo, Enrique. He may well end up like Maric, Viana etc but you have be patient enough to find out. He looked good for France, can't become a bad player overnight.

How many important players have we sold under Ashley who did not fall into any of these categories: asking for too much regarding contracts (Nolan), requesting transfers (Enrique, Given), being a PR nightmare (Barton), subject to insane bids (Carroll) or having release clauses (Ba)?

    Can only think of Milner.

And what is the running total of Ashley's NUFC related cashflow currently? He's probably at minus £200million plus at the moment.

I'm disappointed that we never seem to do enough in the transfer windows regarding bringing enough quality in but we don't have a track record of sell sell sell either.

I agree - it's crazy to write off any player after 6 months, especially considering the situation the team was in over that 6 month period.

One thing is for certain and that is we will never get anywhere in the world of football for the exact same reason poor people get **** all in harrods.

I mean for goodness sake anyone out there with any brains knows we are owned by a cheap shop owner so we have no chance of anything other than ****ty arse aldi football.

Agree. Lots of our better layers have needed time to settle in before becoming crowd favourites.

All the new lads in January came it at a time when we were already struggling, had a fixture pile up due to Europa and had lots of players missing due to injury. So they were thrown straight into the deep end with lots of expectation that they would help turn things around. At least we survived relegation.

Let's give them time to settle in properly.

A brand new season ahead should make it easier, as everyone is set back to zero points with everything to play for.

Hopefully we'll have better luck with with injuries and actually be able to field a strong XI on a consistent basis.

Oh yes it's me!!! sorry guys I rolled over this morning and realised our fans have turned into a bunch of plebs - just keep paying your money and don't even dare to dream it's more than insignificance you exist for in life.

You would all do better to spend your cash on your family than chasing a dream that quite frankly will never become a reality.

Although with the amount of oil rich clubs looking at our players, perhaps we are Harrods this summer!
