    Haven't read through all this but some of the disappointment posts I really cannot understand.

    I can only put it down to ppl assuming that Gomez is the replacement for Suarez. What if that isn't the case and Suarez stays or we flog him for millions and bring in another huge name (and Gomez is a huge name)

    This is how i see it: The amount of chances we miss each game let alone season that has us up in arms? BR is buying the man that scores those ones <ok>

    I'm just about in the camp of thinking Mario G would be a good signing, good point about needing someone to actually put away chances. I think he has much more about him than Carroll and obviously scores a tonne more goals.

    Don't know how Sturridge would feel though, moved back to the wing most likely. Would be great to have a striker of Gomez's caliber though. More the better too.

    Luis Muriel should be the replacement for Suarez. Fantastic player and is only 22 - nicknamed the Columbian Ronaldo (for both the good and bad reasons).
