Actually, my opinion on the Championship is based on the televised games I watched last season. I saw one with Brighton and it was pretty good but the others I saw were all poor. The pace is about half of the Prem, the passing is of less quality and the whole tempo is slower. When Cardiff slipped up all the other teams around you did too. Then we had the two top scorers in the League slug it out in the worse play off in history. Shocking. Just my opinion though I know others agree, whilst others won't.
to be honest knackered, the championship is always poor compared to the big teams in the premiership. but the likes of west brom, norwich, southampton and villa would not look out of place in the championship. last seasons premiership was one of the worst in the last 5 or so years IMO. harry redknapp himself said that he doubts his QPR side would even finish in the top half of the championship, and they got 25 PL points. the difference from 8th-20th in the PL and the top 6 or so of the championship is not as big as you'd think.
Surely we would be the better judge of that having played in both leagues fairly recently? Feel free to speak like its fact at the end of next season when you have something to base it on.

I doubt your opinion is shared by many, though you're quite at liberty to post it on this forum unlike Cardiff fans who can't post theirs on yours without you and others screaming down the keyboard. There's is no question that the overall standard in the Premier League is superior to that in the Championship - that's the way it should be, but to effectively say that winning the Championship was a non-event because of some poor opposition in the division is farcical. If this your level of debate, we're in for more struggles on this board than we are on the pitch. Like you always say - just an opinion, but the difference here is that it's on a free speech forum.

You won the League and should be proud of it. But I'm entitled (I think) to say the League wasn't that good. We're constantly getting a similar accusation about the Prem from Cardiff fans - last season and this - and to be honest I have the good grace to admit they have a point. Why you're keeping on about being free to post opinions when I've never even mentioned that is beyond me. You're the only one banging on about that so maybe it's time to stop trying to score points?
