    First post :)

    After reading about Yohan Cabaye and his signing, I was so happy," talented French footballer joining Newcastle". The first of many hopefully for the summer from Fat Mike.

    However been a Newcastle fan since been a small kid (25 years), there's always a chance that this is just a rumour and will not happen. So I looked for proof and found the link below.

    The interview is after their recent game but is in French however I hear the word Newcastle United which is enough proof for me. Anyone who speaks french want to share what he actually says is welcome to say so.

    Yets just hope we continue the spending :)

    First of all, welcome.

    In the interview he's asked if he has chosen if he has chosen Newcastle, to which he replies yes! So that one's done it would seem.
    He then goes on to say he was always frank with the coach and that it was a tough decision because Lille is his team but he thanks the fans and wishes them a successful season next year in the champions league and the league.

    thats pretty much it in a nutshell
