Losing matches again. Going to the pub before the game no longer feeling completely confident. Leaving the ground after the game feeling depressed.

I'm one of the few who doesn't enjoy playing Pompey. It's the only loss that really hurts. Note to self: take a strong dose of Adkins positivity medicine :smiley-finger007:

Yep we should expect to lose more games than in league 1, but the championship is a lot more open than league 1, which could help us!

From what I hear, he needs to "clean up" abit before he's on a pitch again!

I would urge people not to get the idea that things will be easy, because then every loss is treated as the end of the world. We are a team in progress, who were too good for League 1, but an unknown quantity in the Championship. My belief (and it is only a belief) is that we are likely to be a mid-table team (with an outside possibility of top 6). The important thing is that we play entertaining, effective football in 2011/12 and show that we are still making progress.

Yes I feel like we will have to get used to losing a bit more next season. I guess the consolation is that it wont feel like the end of the World when we do, unlike this season when everyone seemed to get completely depressed for days.

Depending on who we sign for next season, it could turn out to be another hughly enjoyable one without too many defeats. But I have to say that even though we have achieved the aim of Championship football, some of the fixtures don't really excite me too much at the moment.

You are not alone there but not just for the reasons you give. I don't enjoy the atmosphere of hate that goes with these games and I prefer to watch a match without a row of riot police in situ. The best thing to happen is for Pompey to make a quick exit to div 1 and to leave us to mount a Premiership challenge without them. Or their insolvency, whichever comes first I don't mind.

We always, and I mean ALWAYS, lose to Watford. I expect the same next season. But if they're the only two games we lose all season, then I'll be happy.
