Said it before and I'll say it again, Fellaini is ****ing crap. I hope United sign him and start him in their midfield because they'd be screwed. 25mill for a walking Shaft advert with a target on his chest saying 'hoof ball'? Bite their hand off! Everton would do wonders with 25mill for that elbowing plank to reinvest in some quality in the centre. I think Everton would be tempted to part with Baines for 15-17mill, but I'd rather he didn't go to United. He'd actually improve them
Take it from someone who's watched him week in & week out for 5 years - he's as far from '****ing crap' as you can get. When he first arrived he looked a right waste of dosh. However, once he adjusted to the pace of the PL & settled in, he has been improving year on year. The last 2 1/2 seasons he's been magnificent. He can play the role behind the striker, but his best position is CM & he would get into ANY side in the PL - BAR NONE. So to label him as '****ing crap' tells me that your football knowledge is somewhat limited.
It tells me that in all the games he's played against us, he's been ****ing crap. He has never turned up against us. Can't say I care to watch Everton more than that though, so I'll have to take your word on the other games in which he's been 'magnificent'
Only because he's largely been employed as a target man in those fixtures & he got sent off in 1 to boot! Ask a United fan who was at Goodison on the opening day of last season what they think of him...... The lad is class & at £25m (or thereabouts) is an absolute bargain in the current market. I'd have good money that he goes to either Chelsea or United this summer.
I can only take you to be "small bird" not "big bird" as you are proclaiming.I cannot understand what the fuss is about. What are you going to do if a player hands in a transfer request?.Absolutely nothing.Get a grip:
Still not actually read I then? I said early on that he won't hand in a request IMO, as we've had offers for him before & he's not been interested (Bayern Munich 2 years ago to name but 1) If he had been the type to kick & scream to move on, he's had plenty of opportunity to do it & he's chosen not to - which speaks volumes to me.
If anyone thinks that Fergie will let Moyes spend 25m on Felani you are deluded. Don't see him going anywhere this summer if Everton value him at that price!
Don't know how much 'the peoples elbow' is worth but back to the article title, will Martinez get the job or someone else on 'the list'.
Martinez still looks to be a shoo in, but it still could take a twist with Pereira & now Rangnick also in the running.
Interesting. Someone on another forum said that isn't the way it's done when LFC had a 'list'. They said a club has one target and goes for that person - that maybe used to be the case but hasn't been for a while to my knowledge. Martinez at least managed to do what Moyes couldn't - win a major trophy on a small budget - maybe he can do it again, would be nice!
I don't disagree but his value is only what someone is willing to pay, if Everton value him higher then he stays in normal cirmcumstances. However, its not normal circumstances. Felliani has made it clear he wants to move on. How long has he got left on his contract?
Well, I certainly wouldn't take him ahead of Lucas, Coutinho or Gerrard - so he wouldn't get into our midfield at least. Even Salif Diao would be an improvement on United's midfield, so no wonder they'd be interested in Fellaini, doesn't say much
