Morning all. Off to France this evening and won't get to my destination until after midnight there. Was supposed to leave the island on Friday night to fly to Minorca Sat am but had seizures on Weds and didn't come out of hospital until Fri pm and muscles were too weak to travel without another adult - it was just going to be me and my sons. Now you know why you haven't heard from me in a few days - might be able to get on a computer while I'm down there but can't promise. Dunno if any of you remember on 606 me showing my ex in-laws place in the Charente Maritime, that's where I'm going.

The weather continues to be good here, that is if you don't want rain. I remember you showing the pictures and it looks really good. Enjoy yourself with the boys and look after yourself.

Very grey down here but still not a spot of rain on the garden. Will be heading for the kitchen shortly as I'm on cooking duty today...Matthew Fort's grandmother's fish pie with crispy bacon on top - an old favourite of ours. Goes well with a crisp Sauvignon.
