Swansea give Manchester United testimonial to Alan Tate .. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22729935
Well deserved , although he may not need the money any more , its more for the recognition of what he's contributed to the club
I think I might just want to be there more than for the palyoffs or cup final. Anyone know when tickets go on sale? Or, will it be plastic (Man U) fans who will end up with most of the tickets? And I really hope he gets recognised in the Cardiff games. Alan Tate a true Jack legend.
Most prem players are paid huge amounts but Tatey has only being earning really good wages for a few years I would think, our club pay modestly but extra bonuses for good results bump up their wages. He maybe will have missed out on some of these win bonuses after his leg break and his lack of game time since, footballers careers are short and he has a young son to support so any extra money he gets will have to last him until he's around 68 years old....
hope he gets a club soon maybe in the championship somewhere. he did well at leeds but i don't think he wanted a permanent move there tbh..
