    The world of football !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is being reported here in Norway that Mourinho has signed a 4 year contract with Chelsea at a reported wage of £8million A YEAR!!!!

=£154,000 (figure has been rounded) A FOOKING WEEK !!!!!!!!!

He will get in one week what I must work almost five fr'gging years for.

This is not only absurd but morally reprehensible <grr>

Please someone tell me the Norwegian news service has got it wrong

    Trying to KTF

Im probably going against the grain but the man deserves it. He'll help bring in 10 times that amount to Cheese while he's at the club

He's the best in the world at what he does in a multi billion pound industry. Is it really that obscene?

It is crazy money but you can't have employees earning more than the boss. I know it happens but it shouldn't really should it?

If he was really that good, then why are a hell of a lot of Madrid fans celebrating his departure..However, even if he was the best in the world at what he does, in my humble opinion, it is still obscene for one person to make so much money whilst there is so much poverty in the world.

OMG! He's only on £8m :O The poor man is going to be living in poverty :( The club will foot the bill for his digs and as for tax, he'll probably pay about £2.50 a week after his salary is allegedly hidden away in offshore accounts etc. ;)

    Is it really that surprising?

The highest payed player on the planet is Eto, and he's on 380k pw.... tax free.

Rooney is on well over 200k per week, the same as 6+ Man City players.

So if Mourinho can win Chelsea the PL and do well in the CL, 156k pw isn't that bad.

I'm more of a liberal thinker in that if you work hard, you deserve all the money you earn. But that's just ****in disgusting for kicking a ball around. I would expect brain/heart surgeons to be on that kind of cash, not arrogant granny shaggers from Liverpool.

Look up the best 50 paid sports people in the USA. If £10m per year shocks you, this will blow your brains out. and thats for playing the male version of netball, the male version of rounders and the puffs version on rugby........
