According to The Mirror, Burnley have turned down our £3 million plus add-ons deal, as they want more of a guaranteed sum. (says majority of add-ons based on us staying up). Maybe Villa have reacted to our bid and 'jumped the queue'?
That's why an offer of a three year contract worth £30k per week doesn't seem so good if there's a relegation adjustment to £20k per week. It's not easy for clubs going up!

Just seen that Jonathan Parr is being monitored by a few PL clubs, would definitely be a good transfer and is first choice for his country now that Riise has retired from internationals. Should see how much Palace want.
I dont think that Marcos Alonso was a high priority at all. Not that we need defenders in at the moment. The priority has to be strikers to start with.
